Air charterer’s new service offers complimentary service to travel agents, corporate clients, and MICE with cheaper alternative to group booking demand
Cologne, Germany, 19th May 2025: Chapman Freeborn has introduced a new service that provides an affordable alternative for group travel charter flights, while offering greater flexibility than comparable traditional airlines.
Unlike direct bookings through an airline, Chapman Freeborn can accommodate orders for more than nine passengers on scheduled flights without the need to confirm their names until tickets are issued.
When booking through Chapman Freeborn, only one named contact is required before tickets are issued, together with an initial deposit with favourable cancellation conditions, providing maximum flexibility.
“Our brokers are well-versed in the complex nature of group bookings, maintaining contacts with group departments at numerous international airlines,” said Frank Mattern, Director of Passenger Charter – DACH.
“As a full-service provider, Chapman Freeborn has closed the market gap for groups over nine, with flexible booking terms now available on scheduled flights, providing cost-savings compared to full or part-charters.
“We’re here to make travel planning easier, supporting travel agencies with research and booking, as well as offering clear and simple billing by way of providing an overall invoice for the travel arrangements.”
This follows the establishment of a new European music and entertainment division at Chapman Freeborn, alongside the appointment of a general sales agent in Eastern Europe, and the opening of a new French operations base.
