Air charterer continues European expansion with the appointment of Francisco Serrano to oversee passenger charters across Iberia
London, United Kingdom, 20th March 2025: Chapman Freeborn has appointed Francisco Serrano as Director of Passenger Charters – Iberia.
The new position is part of a long-term strategy targeting sustainable growth and stronger strategic and operational leadership across the Chapman Freeborn Group as it continues to increase its presence across Europe.
“Since joining Chapman Freeborn, Francisco has worked tirelessly to expand both our reach and range of services across the Iberian Peninsula,” said James Edwards, Vice President Passenger – Europe, Chapman Freeborn.
“Bringing with him a wealth of experience from across the brokerage and operator sides of the business, Francisco is perfectly placed to capitalise on the strong growth we have reported in the region.”
Serrano joined Chapman Freeborn in 2023 to relaunch its services in Spain and Portugal after a career in banking, air charter brokerage and sales.
“Iberia is a region with great potential, and I am proud to lead such a talented team at this exciting time,” said Francisco Serrano, Director of Passenger Charters – Iberia, Chapman Freeborn.
“I remain committed to continuously improving our service offering, adapting to changes, and staying ahead of market trends to provide the best possible service to our discerning clients.”
This follows the signing of an agreement with Portuguese multimodal logistics specialist, Santos e Vale, to expand Chapman Freeborn’s cargo charter, on-board courier, time critical, and passenger charter services last year, as well as the opening of a new French operations base last month.
